What is a Meal Subscription Gift? +
Our Meal Subscription Gifts are the fun and easy way to treat someone (or a couple, or a family), to a free meal once a month for the length of the subscription. The best part is that the recipient gets to choose where to redeem their gift. They can eat out at hundreds of different restaurants or order delivery from any meal delivery platform.
What does the “Subscription Length” mean? +
The purchaser chooses the length of the Meal Subscription. The options are 1-Month, 3-Months, 6-Months or 12-Months. The recipient will get one meal per month for the length of the subscription.
What does the “Size” mean? +
The purchaser chooses the size of the Meal Subscription. The options are 1-Person, 2-People, a Family (2 adults, 2 kids) or a Large Family (2 adults, 4 kids). The size correlates to the value of the meal redeemed and is meant to cover the average cost of a meal for the number of people mentioned. The size doesn’t need to match the number of people actually eating. The size simply represents the dollar value that can be used for each meal, regardless of how many people are eating.
What is the difference between a Physical and Digital Announcement? +
The purchaser can choose to send a physical announcement or a digital announcement. The physical announcement is a beautiful 3-panel printed card that can be sent to the purchaser to hand-deliver, or sent directly to the recipient. The physical announcement includes a certificate with a unique activation code and instructions for how to redeem the gift. If the purchaser chooses the digital announcement, then the Meal Gift will be sent to the recipient via email. For both physical and digital, the purchaser can choose from a variety of different designs based on the occasion and recipient.
How do Recipients Redeem Their Gift? +
Recipients activate their Meal Gift using a unique code that comes with the announcement package. Upon activating, the recipient will receive credits in their account each month for the duration of the subscription. The recipient can then use those credits (like a gift card) at the restaurant or meal delivery platform of their choice. The credits do not expire and just keep accruing if your recipient doesn’t redeem in any given month.
Where can Recipients Redeem Their Gift? +
Recipients can redeem their gift at hundreds of different restaurants, from quick serve, to casual, to fancy and everything in between. Or, recipients can order food delivery using any meal delivery platform. We’re adding more all the time so let us know if there is a restaurant or chain you would like us to include.
Does the Recipient Need to Redeem Every Month? +
The Dinner Subscription Gift is not time-sensitive. It can be activated at any time. It does not need to be redeemed over consecutive months or within a certain period of time. Credits are deposited into the recipient’s account each month and can be used at any time, they do not expire.
Is there an Expiration Date? When Does the Subscription Begin and End? +
There’s no expiration date. The recipient does not need to use their gift right away! They can save it for a special occasion or when they really need a night off from cooking! It does not need to be redeemed over consecutive months or within a certain period of time. Credits are deposited into the recipient’s account each month for the duration of the subscription. Credits can be used at any time, they do not expire.
